Our day started with a big hearty meal, need to top up the tank for the drive ahead. After taking in a few of the monuments of Kenora, we got back on to the road and headed to the Provincial border, even from Kenora it still took a while to get to the Manitoba border.

Finally after 3 days of drive, and nearly 2000 km of driving we reach the border.

This the first time I've been out of Ontario on it's western border!

We made it as far as Moosomin, Saskatchewan, during our drive we made stops in Winnipeg, we checked out the Mint. This is the mint that well mint all of our standard coinage, reach into your pockets, all those pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters, loonies and toonies are minted here.

I was also able to check out a Cabela's while in Winnipeg, it's nice seeing outdoor stores that have a nice selection of rifles, shotguns, and handguns available for sale. It took 2500 km+ before I was able to get my first beer into me, Red Barn to the Rescue.

One thing I love about Saskatchewan, is that if you want to buy beer, you can purchase it at a bar / pub and have it browned bag and take it out of the bar. You'll have to pay a bit more for it, but it's nice if you want to buy a some beer and all the liquor stores are closed.
